| What is your favorite thing to do while driving somewhere? Whether it is singing songs, listening to music, or just talking with your family. WHat do you like to do on the long road? |

| Listening to music and talking with my family. Sometimes I joke that being "stuck" in the car with my husband is the only time I get his undivided attention :) We did a three week trip driving around New Zealand last summer and it was great. We brought a pile of CDs, a couple of maps, and just hit the road and had a great time visiting that beautiful country. |

I listen to the talkback shows. Some of them are funny as heck.
If I'm with friends, we just chat about stuff, play little games like eye spy, or listen and comment on the music.
Alternatively, if I'm alone, I would pop in a classical music CD, or something with a fast pulsing beat. I also keep a cup of coffee or tea on the cup holder to drink during red lights or long straight roads.
Its pretty important to keep myself busy while driving, so I don't fall asleep at the wheel. Even simple stuff like looking at scenery for a few seconds is useful. |
