| I may have some free time this summer and I'm thinking about taking a short trip to a country in asia. I've been to China, Japan, Korea, and Singapore. My Chinese is pretty good (not quite good enough to pass off as a native speaker though!). My Japanese and Korean vocabularies are both very, very limited, I can speak maybe 100 words :). Does anyone have any recommendations for good places to visit? |

| What is the purpose of your travel? What kind of things interest you? Sightseeing? Outdoor activites? Shopping? Food? Just hanging out in the capital? And what month in summer? Depending on the season, there may be monsoons or typhoons. In most parts of southeast Asia, it gets stiflingly hot and the humidity is almost unbearable! (I know because I live there! :shock: ) |
