| My favorite places to go (so far in this short life) are Miami Beach and Maine, specifically Moosehead Lake. Miami is a great escape from Winter, and Maine is a great place in the Summer. :D |

| Morocco(the cities there called "Meknes" and "Moulay Idriss" were very cool!), Mt Fuji(spectacular from afar, nice workout if ya climb it!), Madras(India), Mexico City, Mykonos(Greece), Malaysia, Munich, Maidenhead(suburbs of London. Two of the three 3-star Michelin restaurants in England are in this village!), Mizushima (the industrial area about 15 km. south from here where the Japanese zero bombers were manufactured! Now they stick to manufacturing Mitsubishi automobiles!)... |

Hmm, I don't think I've been to all that many places that start with "M".
Let's see...
Madrid
Mexico
Maryland
Miami
Macao
I guess that's not too bad.
I wonder what the most common letter for places is? |

Most likely China, taking into consideration the vast size of the country, and its largely populated cities and towns. Maybe a letter like "Z" or "X" then! |

Oh, it goes on and on...Memphis, Missoula, Missouri, Manhatten, Manhasset, Marlborough, Mechanicsburg, Mechanicsville, Montana, Montreal, Merion...the world is a big place, we could make long lists for most letters in the alphabet in North America.
Let's try a difficult one...non-Chinese place names beginning with X. I say non-Chinese, because as cocodrilo pointed out, there's probably a lot of X-names in China. |

How about Morristown, NJ? What is this town's claim to fame? Being Morris' Town!
Seriously, Washington had his headquarters there for awhile and you can visit the federal site set aside for it. I am not sure if it is a National Park or a National monument, but it is a fine place to visit, learn about history, and take in the sites.
You can reach Morristown in Morris County, New Jersey. |
