what everybody does notice is that urinal has a fly in it - actually it's the black outline of a fly etched into the porcelain. It improves the aim. If a man sees a fly - he aims at it.
Fly-in urinal research found that etchings reduce spillage by 80%. It gives a guy something to think about.
I saw that on TV! Really quite amazing isn't it? They should have something like that for the squat tiolets over here in Japan- often people "miss" when using then, and if it's "number two", it's not a pretty sight... |

| Unfortunately in the centre of London too many folk, drunk or not, do not seem to have heard of the toilet and use the street instead. and now they want to extend pub hours, suggesting that this wil help the problem. |

| One of my first bits of culture shock when moving to Japan was seeing men peeing in the street. It's just accepted here! Grosses me out every time I see it! (I've also seen women holding their kids over rice paddies to take a dump or whatever. Find a friggin' gas station, I say!) |
