Starting from 1st September children aged under 14 can travel FREE on London's buses and trams.
Those age 14 and 15 need to buy a one-off Oyster Photocard (£5) - and use it from 1st August.

That's great news. Isn't the Oyster card a commuter pass? Noticed it last June when I was in London. We opted for a week-long pass for which we had to supply our own passport photos. It also got us discounts on the railway(as opposed to the underground). |
