These are some very recent photos of my city, Kurashiki, located in western Japan, population 470,000. The first was taken from a beer garden and is of Tivoli Park lit up at night. The last couple are two very "pastoral" photos taken in the suburbs, Nakasho, from the 6th floor of the Kawasaki Medical School Nursing College where I teach. Note the train running by in the first one. Rice planting season began early June so the paddies are bright green now and very refreshing to view! |
