I was planning to go to Japan this summer. But my parents have offered to take me to Yellowstone in US - all paid and everything. Hmm, dilemma. I really want to go to Japan but could hold if off since I could save some money.
Whats yellowstone like, is it worth visiting ? |

| Yellowstone is amazing from what I've heard. My stepfather worked a Summer there. Lots of wildlife, open skies, and surrounding mountains. |

Yellowstone is one of the premiere US National Parks. Mountains, geysers, bears, wolves, nature, it just goes on and on. I've never been, though, although my husband keeps saying we should go (he's been).
We were going to buy one of those mini camper-vans once (saw a great price on a great used one), but we hesitated and someone else bought it before we could decided. We were going to take it to Yellowstone.... |

| Went there dozens of times as a kid, but I hear reports the place is overtrodden with tourists nowadays. Very sad indeed. |

| There is no doubt in my mind that Yellowstone is beautiful, but I have yet to hear anyone complain about Japan. I personally would love to go to Japan, its a whole different culture, and definately a learning experience. I can understand wanting to save up some money, but why not take a chance at a huge adventure travelling to a beautiful country like Japan. I have a friend who was born there, and he loved it there. |
