As advocate travelers one of the main things we dont want to happen is losing or have our luggage misplaced so
Here are some tips that I hope will help
Create a list of things you packed have one copy of the list with you, one copy in your luggage, and the original leave at home.
Include you identification in the luggage in case the outer tag is lost
Place a copy of your itinerary in the outside pocket of your luggage so that it's easy for the airline to find you
Tie a colored ribbon with your intials around the handle so that's not taken by mistake. Also take a photo of your luggage so that you can easy prove ownership of the luggage if needed
Remove old tags so that the handlers are not confused
Make sure all luggage has been ticketed properly at check in
In the ever continuing battle of preventing lost luggage I hope this helps |
