| It would be great if you could actually take the time to write some information about nice places in Romania here at the Travel Forums. Could you do that for us? |

sure, jonathan, why not?!
Let me start with the capital of Romania, Bucharest.
It is a very interesting city, because of the mixture of architecture styles and people...
Mostly, the architecture is of French origin, since many French persons used to visit our country last century and at the beginning of this century. But there are also other influences to be noticed. For instance, the communist period can be noticed in some parts of the city, where old houses were replaced by new buildings; these new buildings are huge, they were intended to be representative for the megalomania of our former leaders...
Anyway, we also have museums in Bucharest, I recommend the Village Museum, for those interested in Romanian traditional houses and clothing.
For the music lovers, we have concerts of classical music and Opera. For food lovers, there are many restaurants, depends on the specificity you're looking for. There are Romanian restaurants, French restaurants, Hungarian, Vietnamese, Greek, Turkish, Chinese, Swiss, Italian... any sort of cuisine you want to try...
As far as the night life is concerned, Bucharest is the top town of Romania... it is packed with pubs, clubs, discos... house, R&B, Greek, Irish, Latino... you name it... there is an age limit (18 years old) imposed by law, but it is rarely enforced... the prices are probably quite low compared to the West European or USA ones... for instance water ranges from Euro 1 to Euro 1.5, beer from Euro 1 to Euro 3 (there are some foreign brands which are more expensive...), juices from Euro 1 to Euro 2.5, wines and strong alcoholic beverages are more expensive.
Anything I left out?
