It seems like the tail end of 2009 and the beginning of 2010 have been full of nothing but horror stories for flying.

From the NW Airlines bombing, to air traffic control towers losing power with no back, to controllers almost guiding planes into each other...

Has anyone started to get a bit more scared before flying? I have never been comfortable flying and usually spend the night before a flight mildly panicking but now I don't even want to step on a plane at all.
